IRV & Other Upcoming Ballot Issues
Submitted by nick on Wed, 2007-10-10 21:35The Sarasota City special election on November 6th include 12 questions on the ballot. The 2nd Question is whether the City of Sarasota will adopt Instant Runoff Voting. This effort was supported and made possible by the local Greens in coalition with other community groups. Sarasota´s Instant Runoff Voting campaign is part of a long term strategy of incremental, democratic election reforms to ensure our government represents us.
