WSLR's Holiday Concert

Mindy Simmons & Bill Schustik

Location: Holley Hall Symphony Center

Bill travels all over America gathering songs and sowing legends. The tools of his trade include his magnificent baritone voice, a keen sense of drama, a colorful array of folk instruments, and a deep abiding love for traditional American lore. Bill Schustik is a living treasury of American history, song and theater.

Mindy Simmons is a veteran performing songwriter and a Sarasota favorite. She has been on the road playing festivals, nightclubs and concert halls for 28 years. Singing her own flavor of blues, jazz and folk, Mindy is a one-of-a-kind, outstanding entertainer.

For the holidays Bill and Mindy will combine the stories and songs of the season for a performance that will be enjoyed by all ages.

WSLR will also be holding a Silent Auction, so bring your checkbook to purchase those last minute Christmas Gifts and support your local radio station at the same time. WSLR also encourages everyone to bring canned goods for All Faiths Food Bank to help feed the hungry over the holidays.

Tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door
